McGill included in 2015 “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” report by London Stock Exchange
McGill have been identified as one of 1000 companies in the second edition of London Stock Exchange’s “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” report 2015.
This significant report is produced by the London Stock Exchange to showcase and support the UK’s dynamic small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs). Those included in the list have a unique ability to innovate and create new jobs, in turn fronting the revival of the UK economy.
The London Stock Exchange worked with the research company, DueDil, to identify the list of 1000 companies. The companies that have most outperformed their sector averages were identified and collated across the sectors and the country.
Scotland had 61 companies included in the list with average revenue of £37.2million. The sectors that shine in Scotland include Construction & Real Estate, Engineering, Defence & Aerospace and Technology, Media & Communication.
McGill are a well-established family run firm which started trading in 1981 as an electrical contractor. With their head office in Dundee and offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow, they have continued to grow through a tough economic climate in a very competitive industry. They have expanded their services to include Mechanical, Electrical, Energy Efficiency & Insulation, Heating & Plumbing, Fire & Security, Kitchens and Bathrooms, Renewable Energy, Maintenance & Repairs, Design & Build and Refurbishment, keeping up with the ever changing market and providing solutions to a range of sectors including Commercial & Industrial, Residential, Healthcare, Education, Art & Leisure and Retail.
