McGill have secured the electrical, heating and plumbing work packages on the new build Craighouse private housing development in Edinburgh for Quartermile Developments valued at £1.5m.

McGill have successfully delivered projects for over 10 years for Quartermile Ventures at Lauriston Place in Edinburgh. They are delighted to have been awarded the first phase of the Craighouse project, hoping this will lead to them securing further developments planned for the site.

Burton consists of six townhouses, four luxury penthouse, two duplexes and 20 apartments. Each property has been designed to create an environment that is light, spacious and flowing.

This project will be delivered by their Dundee arm of the Residential Team, while the  Edinburgh Team remain fully committed to delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishment contracts, electrical refit and rewire contracts and smoke detector contracts for their largest client, The City of Edinburgh Council.

Colin Low, Managing Director, commented

We have had an excellent relationship with the team at Quartermile Ventures for 10 years now and it is very pleasing to see this has resulted in us moving onto the next development with them. Building excellent customer relationships is of key importance to us and has allowed us to steadily grow our business. Long may it continue.
