McGill, the Scottish construction and building services company, has been awarded another contract with national housebuilder, Living by Robertson. McGill will deliver the plumbing and heating package of works, a contract worth £340,000, at The Jewel, Robertson Living’s most recent development.
The development of 40 contemporary 3 and 4-bedroom houses adjacent to Scotland’s largest outdoor shopping centre, Fort Kinnaird, near Portobello, is the second of Living by Robertson’s projects in Edinburgh that McGill has been awarded in recent months and signal a ramp up in activity in the capital for the Dundee-based firm.
Speaking of the new contract McGill Operations Director, Chris Ferriday commented; “My team and I are delighted to be awarded another significant contract with Living by Robertson, our second in the past few months. To be appointed on multiple contracts with the same developer highlights our quality and the strength of our relationship. I look forward to continuing our partnership long into the future.”
The contract continues the growth of McGill in Edinburgh and signals the intent of the business and its parent company, United Capital to expand the geographical reach of the business across the Central Belt.
