McGill has been appointed to a £68 million property maintenance framework by I-Flair, a consortium of housing associations located in East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, and Renfrewshire.
The framework, which is set to last for four years, is a wide-ranging maintenance contract, and includes kitchen and bathroom replacements, window and door replacements, central heating, landscaping, and painting and decorating.
McGill has been appointed to the framework to supply kitchen replacements, bathroom replacements, and electrical maintenance and installations.
This is the latest in a series of wins and contracts awarded to McGill, which is a trusted main contractor working with a number of housing associations throughout Scotland. In the last few months McGill has been awarded two contracts by Caledonia Housing Association. The contracts, which appointed McGill to complete a programme of bathroom and kitchen replacements, have a combined value of £2.6 million. McGill was also appointed to another four-year framework earlier this year by Govanhill Housing Association; the £20 million framework covers major repairs.
Operations Director at McGill, Chris Ferriday said, “Everyone at McGill is incredibly pleased to have been appointed to the I-Flair framework. We are already a very established on the West Coast of Scotland, and have an excellent base there for expanding operations even further.
This is the type of work that makes a real difference to the lives of residents. Not only that, this framework also gives us the opportunity to provide much-needed jobs in the local area. As a trusted name in the Scottish construction industry, we look forward to getting started and working alongside other companies.”
