Local building company McGill deliver early Christmas present for Dundee West Football Club
Dundee-based building company McGill has delivered an early Christmas present to Dundee West Football Club by completing renovation works in their Charlotte Street clubhouse. Over the past few weeks, McGill electricians have donated their time to complete improvements works including replacing existing lights with new energy-saving LED lights.
McGill Operations Director, Chris Ferriday commented; “We understand the importance of community and we are always happy to support local clubs, groups and events. Our team love being able to get involved in a community project and complete this electrical work for a local Dundee club, we hope that the players, coaches and parents enjoy the improvements.”
Paul Gibson of Dundee West Football Club commented; “We would like to thank McGill for donating their time to make necessary improvements to our clubhouse. As a local sports club, money is always tight, and McGill have helped us create a better environment for our players and visitors.”
McGill was rescued earlier in the year by Dundee Businessman Graeme Carling when it entered administration after 38 years trading, which resulted in the loss of almost 440 jobs. McGill has continued to grow over 2019 and has re-built its workforce to over 60 employees.
