Quartermile is the site of the old Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and McGill were appointed the Electrical Contractor on these two buildings.

Q15 and Q17 arepart of the existing buildings which were refurbished and turned into 26No Luxury apartments ranging from 1 Bedroom to 4 Bedroom Triplex apartments all finished to an extremely high standard.

McGill were responsible for the entire electrical installation including Door Access and Security Systems, Site Wide Fire Alarm Systems and CCTV monitoring of both apartment blocks; all controlled from a common concierge office located within the main Building.

As all Apartments had a choice of Kitchen and Bathroom Layouts, these could not be finalised until the unit had been sold. Once sold, we liaised with the client and Kitchen/Bathroom installer to ensure that we provided the client with an installation to meet their specific requirements.

Due to the success of these two projects we have since been awarded the Electrical works package for Q16 which is a new build of a further 27 luxury apartments and associated systems.
