McGill were awarded the Mechanical and Electrical work packages for the new purpose built offices and workshops at Site “A” Westhill, Aberdeen for IKM Testing.

IKM Testing, part of the IKM Group is a worldwide company that test offshore pipe work, tools and equipment. 

Marsh Consulting Ltd carried out the concept design requirements for the M&E Services installation and McGill accepted a Design & Build contract from Dandara Ltd to develop the design to provide working systems in compliance with the Employers requirements.

McGill’s Fire & Security division were also appointed to carry out the Fire and Intruder Detection and Alarm installations, giving better control on delivery of the project.

The contract ran from January 2014 to March 2014 and the contract value was £367k.

Dandara Ltd were delighted with McGill’s approach to delivery of the project in such a short period of time and complimented the management team and site operatives for exceeding their expectation in terms of design capability and workmanship.
