McGill were appointed principal contractor by Caledonia Housing Association to complete kitchen replacements to properties in Pitlochry, Dundee and Perth. Since the initial works were awarded, a communal kitchen has also been added into the schedule of works.

The works started in Pitlochry on 10 November 2014 and 21 properties were completed over a 5 week period, finishing ahead of target on 12 December 2014.

Tenants were uneasy about the works in the beginning, but McGill worked in sync with the tenants, making sure any concerns were heard, and dealt with accordingly. Old kitchens were removed and replaced in the same day to limit any inconvenience, with decoration, including flooring, plaster work, tiling and painting to follow.

With everyone happy, the team then moved onto Harrison Avenue, Dundee on 5 January 2015 where there are 37 properties to complete over six weeks.

The works then move onto Perth on 23 February 2015 where there are 32 properties to complete at Bowerswell Cottages and 7 properties in Speygate.

Tenants were exceptionally happy with the completed works which was reflected in the 100% tenant satisfaction.
