McGill donate £1,000 to Southside Housing Association

McGill have generously donated £1,000 to Southside Housing Association towards funding their site open day in June. The cheque was given to Alistair Brown, a Project Assistant for Southside Housing Association, by McGill Project Manager -Grant Arnott (pictured).

McGill were appointed to renew the LTHW heating systems serving 219 high rise properties by installing five rooftop plant rooms. The picture shows Grant and Alistair in one of the newly built rooftop plant rooms. The contract ran between October 2012 and January 2014 and the contract value was £3.3million.

The money will go towards an open day for the tenants of Moss Heights Avenue and the local community of Cardonald. On the day there will be displays from the local football team, Police and Fire Brigade along with food stalls, a bouncy castle, raffles and face painting.

Contractors have been invited along to the open day and the client is hoping to provide an information and timeline display of recent works.
