McGill were appointed by Ogilvie Homes to complete Plumbing, Heating and Ventilation works to 14 new build luxury units in West Burn Lane, St Andrews. The lot comprised of four apartments, four maisonettes and six town houses.

The contract began in April 2014 and finished in January 2015.

The town houses were in a three storey block and each had a Baxi system boiler installed. Each house had four bedrooms, two bathrooms and an en-suite.

The four maisonettes were in a two storey block and each had a Baxi combi boiler installed. Each maisonette had three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The four apartments had a mixture of two and three bedrooms over one storey and a two bedroom apartment over two storeys.

Additional works were added mid-contract as there were some design issues which occurred regarding the plumbing and pipework locations, so we liaised with the client to quickly rectify these. Grills were added, pipework was changed and we had to reroute gas pipe work.

A cherry picker had to be supplied to install external grills for the ventilation entering the kitchens and bathrooms in all properties.
