With the Scottish Government’s target of 80% of electricity in Scotland being produced from renewable energy sources by 2020, this part of our business has been growing rapidly over the last three years.
What is renewable energy?
Renewable energy is energy which comes from natural resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat, which are renewable (naturally replenished).
While many renewable energy projects are large-scale, renewable technologies are also suited to rural remote areas, where often it is difficult to get electricity or fuel to.
We can supply and install the common types of renewable technology used to generate power including –

- Air Source Heat Pumps
Offices, factories and private homes are all suitable for the installation of renewable technologies and the owner will receive the government feed-in tariff as long as they use a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) Accredited product and installer.
